Years ago our family ditched mainstream dental products including toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste and mouthwash for cleaner and safer options. After extensive ingredient research and discovering startling evidence of the harmful effects of long term use of many toothpaste and mouthwash brands, we discovered a world of clean, healthy, and biologically supportive products.

Prices vary dramatically based on content and quality. It’s best to find products that list the percentage of hydroxyapatite content. Those with 10% or higher will provide the best results. If the percentage is not listed, it will be below 10%. Nonetheless, these toothpastes will all be healthy alternative choices to help improve your dental fortitude. There are many to choose from and here’s a few options: 

• Bioniq – 20% but not listed on main website. 
• Boka – % not listed 
• David’s – % not listed 
• Dr Jen – 10% plus some great info on their website. 
• Himalaya – % not listed 

Additionally, in our family, we keep our mouths healthy with mix a few drops per serving of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide in our clean mouthwash or about half a dozen drops into clean water with our Waterpik. We use Nimbus toothbrushes, or Sonicare electric brushes, and Dr Tung’s floss. We also take care of our teeth holistically through biological dentistry.
